“A regular skin checkup can literally save your life.” Jennifer Krasnoff, MD

Phototherapy uses ultraviolet (UVA and narrowband UVB) rays which emit immunosuppressive effects on inflammatory conditions. Carefully controlled in the medical setting, this light calms a variety of inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and itching.

Excimer Laser offers an excellent way of treating localized skin ailments such as psoriasis by emitting high intensity, focused light beams to rapidly clear the skin without risk to healthy, surrounding areas.

Photodynamic Therapy uses light treatment in coordination with safe, topical medication to target affected areas of the skin. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is primarily also used to treat precancerous, actinic keratosis caused by chronic sun exposure. PDT is also a highly effective treatment for acne in patients whose skin has become resistant to other treatments or who cannot take Accutane or oral antibiotics.
